Opis
The Data Analytics Service provides monitoring and analytical capabilities for data pipelines, workloads, and infrastructure resources operating within the SLAIF cloud environment. It enables users and administrators to monitor data transfers, analyze system performance, and track resource utilization through dashboards and programmatic APIs reporting metrics on data movement, compute performance, resource consumption, and operational costs. The service ensures transparency, reliability, and efficiency of AI and data workloads executed on the platform. Through centralized monitoring, users gain insights into pipeline and AI workflow performance, allowing detection of data transfer bottlenecks and inefficient workloads. These insights support optimization of resource allocation and improvement of machine learning training and data processing tasks. The service also includes cost monitoring mechanisms that track consumption across compute, storage, and networking resources, supporting efficient operation of hybrid HPC and cloud-native AI workloads. The service is deployed within the SLAIF cloud infrastructure built on an OpenStack environment integrated with Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads. Key technologies include Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, metrics collection, and visualization dashboards; Kubernetes metrics APIs and kube-state-metrics for monitoring container workloads; Kubeflow monitoring integrations for tracking machine learning experiments and training pipelines; and log aggregation services for centralized log analytics. The monitoring stack integrates with SLAIF compute resources, including GPU nodes, data storage systems, and AI pipelines, allowing real-time analysis of workload performance and infrastructure utilization.

Users and administrators can access monitoring dashboards and APIs providing data transfer metrics and network throughput statistics, data processing performance indicators, monitoring of compute resources (CPU, GPU, memory, storage usage), workload monitoring for AI pipelines and containerized services, and cost and resource utilization reports.
