This service provides hands-on assistance to SMEs, startups, and other clients in the design, development, and testing of real-world AI-based proof-of-concept (PoC) applications. Delivered through co-working space centres, it enables rapid prototyping and validation of AI ideas using HPC-AI infrastructure, pre-trained models, and domain-specific data pipelines. The service covers the entire lifecycle: from initial problem scoping and feasibility assessment, through data preparation, component and model selection, to implementation, evaluation, and demonstration of results. It is designed to lower the barrier to entry for organizations exploring AI-driven solutions, ensuring that prototypes are built using best practices and are positioned for efficient scaling toward production deployment. PoC development leverages containerized workflows using Docker and Kubernetes for reproducible and portable execution environments. Components and pre-trained models from the SLAIF semantic catalogue and public repositories such as Hugging Face, NVIDIA NGC, and domain-specific model hubs are adapted to user-specific use cases through fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. Data pipelines are constructed using standard frameworks including Python, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Jupyter notebooks and interactive development environments are available for collaborative prototyping sessions. Multi-service inference stacks are based on tools like NVIDIA NIMs, vLLM, SGLang or developed using standard frameworks including FastAPI, Flask, and gRPC. HPC-AI infrastructure provides GPU-accelerated compute for fine-tuning and inference tasks.
